BackPacks and Trains

Well, writing after a while now.......

A point which came to my notice is that most of the students/stalwarts of corporate India, who travel by trains, mount their backpacks on their chest. All this despite the bag has a handle to hold it close to the legs.

Guess! They are carrying gold in it, which they mount it close to their chest, Causing incovenience to everyone in the train. This mannerism has been followed by the entire Mumbai race( who travel by trains).

Its herdism, at its best!! Causing pain and inconvenience to everyone around.

Mad Rush! - Poor Etiquettes!!

Have you noticed the Virar fast trains, as they enter the platforms on Churchgate....well what can I say, you could be a participant to that hulabaloo!

Also, I usually shuttle between Andheri and Churchgate, having noticed that during the peak hours in the evening, people literally push you and move ahead. In other words, make you pause as they "BARGE" ahead. Well after reading this blog, I am sure there would be some nasty grins and some guilts (due to poor etiquettes).

The bottomline is , its called "THE MAD RUSH". If you carry a similar attitude towards life and investments (which I call as the science of life), sorry I feel, you are on the wrong path.

Well, again my personal opinion! Not thumping the view on you. Accept it or leave it!!

Nostalgia- Bharti @ Rs 17/-.....Prateek Khandwala do you remember me?

Dear all,

Its just a feeling of nostalgia.....as I remember my meeting with Prateek Khandwala of Khandwala securities, reasonably close to BSE,Fort office. I had gone for a job interview and he had discussed with me that he was doing his MMM from NMIMS.

While requesting him for a position of an equity analyst, I had recommended him ----- Bharti which was quoting in the range of Rs 17 - Rs 18. He didn't offer me a job in those difficult times of mine (2000 recession). Today, look at the performance of that recommendation.
